The first thing that you need to do is turn the USB debugging and charge only mode off. This will allow the computer to communicate through a USB cable and it will calm down the Samsung Galaxy S5 when it is connected to the PC.

The next thing to do is to simply disable or turn off the Fast Boot option and then to make a bacup of the current Android 2.3.3 image.
Before you can install custom ROM you need to clean up data and cache partition as the ROM firmware actually has a different data. You can do this by going to the ClockworkMod main menu and then selecting “wipe data/factory reset” and “wipe cache partition”.
You may then install custom ROM from ZIP file by choosing the “install zip from sdcard” option in the ClockMod recovery.
The last step is optional and during this phase you need to install gapps from zip file.

Before you start doing anything, you need to remember that rooting your Samsung Galaxy S3 will delete all your data , settings and internal storage.

Download and install the LG Root Toolkit (it’s a self-executable). 2. Once this is done, run the utility. 3. Click “Change” to select the build number. Don’t forget to re-enable debugging in the settings!

– Select the “Custom Recovery” and click “Root” box.
– A dialog box opens: it warns you that the script is about to Root LG G3. Confirm this action.
Congratulations dear LG friends, the root has successfully been performed :-). Click “Ok”, then go to the last step.
Just click on “Restore” and select the file .ab format.
