Akira Yoshikawa

     
     
   

Akira Yoshikawa was born in Hiroshima, Japan in 1949.  He graduated from the Department of Experimental Art, Ontario College of Art, in 1974.  Since then he has participated in several gallery and museum shows in Canada.  His work ranges from conceptually-based sculpture to drawings made with oilstick on paper.  His work has been collected by the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, Queen's University and the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre Gendai Gallery
