Jennifer Long

     
     
   

Jennifer Long was born in Comox, British Columbia in 1974. She received her BAA with honours from Ryerson University in 1998 and currently works as Education Coordinator for Gallery 44 Centre for Contemporary Photography. She has exhibited across Canada, in Germany, England, and Hong Kong. Long’s work was recently selected for publication in Carte Blanche, a showcase of the top 80 Canadian fine art photographers, curated by Maia-Mari Sutnick, Curator of Photography at the Art Gallery of Ontario, and Ann Thomas of the National Gallery of Canada. Long also works as an independent curator. Recent projects include Flash Forward, Co-curated with Sophie Hackett for Redux Gallery, New York City, and Lennox Contemporary, Toronto.
