Jennifer Gordon

     
     
   

Jennifer Gordon was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad in 1952 and presently resides in Montreal.  She received her MFA from Concordia University in 1979.  For nine years she taught at Concordia and spent the last twelve as an Assistant Professor at the University of Lethbridge.  As painter and photographer, Gordon has exhibited her work at public and private galleries across Canada.  Her artist book Choosing the Dots, Avoiding the Holes was recently purchased by the National Gallery of Canada.  In 2004, three paintings were acquired by the Art Gallery of Ontario.
